Group Life
Home Groups
The most visible dimension of our fellowship are what we call home groups. It means that we meet in small informal groups in our homes to study the Bible, share concerns in our lives, pray, and mature in Christ. Members of home groups are a cross-section of our parish - young and old, single and married, new and more mature believers. Groups usually meet weekly. Membership in these groups is an integral part of our Church life. Although many people may be hesitant at first, they find home groups vital to their growth in faith. We see this ministry as our primary educational, fellowship, and pastoral work.

Parish Weekend
This annual event draws a large percentage of our congregation away for a weekend of teaching, recreation, and in-depth sharing aimed at building community and shoring up the foundation of our corporate life and ministry. Activities for all ages, lively singing provided by a contemporary music group from the parish, stirring teaching, all in a rustic setting, make these weekends memorable and exciting.
Men's Group
Men of the parish join together for food and fellowship on a monthly basis.
Women's Group
While not a formal group, there are gatherings and events offered on an occasional basis.
Seniors
Our seniors deserve special honour. We value their contribution to our corporate life, especially their prayers and continued support.
Prayer Groups
A confidential prayer chain line is available by calling the main number (416 367 0272) and transferring to the Prayer Chain at extension 333.
There are prayer gatherings on Saturday mornings at 8 am and Wednesdays at noon, when people are able to join together to offer prayers of thanksgiving, praise and concern.
Stephen Ministry
What is Stephen Ministry? Christ Caring for People through People.
Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus' command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring relationships, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them. In Stephen Ministry we believe that Christ is the Cure-Giver, we are His care-givers.
The Stephen Minister provides distinctively Christian care for the person with strict confidentiality, until such time as it seems appropriate to end the caring relationship.
What is a Stephen Minister? ... A Stephen Minister is... a child of God who walks beside a hurting person; a caring Christian who really listens; a person who has received 50 hours of training in how to provide distinctively Christian care.
A Stephen Minister is NOT a counselor or therapist, problem-solver, or casual visitor.
Consider allowing a Stephen Minister to walk with you on your journey to wholeness. Or consider becoming one of our Stephen Ministers.
